Ever have one of those days where you wish Kill Shooter in the Mains was turned off? :furious

Everytime I see buffs knocking down fighter hangars and leaving vehicle hangars up.

Try this:

Working over a Yak in an FM-2, (base capped, needed a turner) who suddenly starts the warp-inducing stick stirring when he realizes he's about five seconds from a .50cal enema. No less than four other guys decide to pile on to my con (by this time the base is nearly clear).

One decides he's going to run right into my sights to grab the kill (I saw him, so checked my fire). Thinking "Maybe his SA just sucked" I call him on it. The response was:

"Waah waah waah! I got the kill, you didn't. If you're too slow get out of the way. Learn to fly."

Add to that: Guy's been in the game about three months and stats reflect that (yeah yeah, stats are relative). I guess maybe he needs to scavenge other people's kills to feel good about himself, but we SERIOUSLY need a .report dick-head command.

Actually I've found a nice well timed barrel roll works wonders here clearing your 6:). I really dont have a big broblem with this UNTIL....1) the guy chk 6's you and then 2) fires some tracers by your ear. Even better is when your defending a base and you pop a con and get an engine kill. Now the guy is glider you've got 2 or 3 "friends" and 15 other badguys...you immediately shift from the cripple to the next target...meanwhile the other "good guys" all chase your cripple to the deck....leaving you clawing up thru 6 or 7k with all the bad guys looking at you....after whacking your cripple the other guys have to extend out (there low of course) so you twist bob and weave and shed parts and manage to pop another as you chase him down...carrying you him and his wing slightly away from the melee...you break turn and barrel roll and force the wing (whos focused on saving his buddy to overeshoot and he augers trying to get lead on you. you've only got 1 of each control surface left and oil on the windshield and the iron dog is now the iron pig....but luckily the con (who went vertical to support his buddy) goes glider and becomes the hanging curve ball...you pull up to pop him and just as you nurse the nose up enough to hose your "victim" you unload 200 or so rounds of 50 cal......right into the belly of the @#$% la-7 that swooped your 1st kill and sucks so badly he couldnt even control his speed enough to even hit your con but flew under him and right into your sight line instead...

Personally I think you should be able to give a certain number of perks (lets say 500) to enable "hunt mode" where you can designate a single target (friend or foe) who is highlighted (similiar to squad) and that you can hunt down for 24 hours:).......

I've had 3 kills stolen in just the past few days.  One was a flamer well away from anywhere he could do any harm, the other two were fluttering to the ground, one missing a wing, the other missing the tail section.  Of course I got the assist in all three cases.

I can put up with just about anything but kill-stealing is just too much IMHO.  I guess when you s**k you take 'em any way you can get 'em.

That said one night I followed a hurt plane down never firing a shot and got the kill while the person who should have gotten it flew overhead.  I immediately appologized and told him I never even fired.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
