hey dedalos it wasnt me flying the p51, but anyhow, being picked off out of a horde of friendlies by a single enemy con is pretty much the fault of the person who makes themself he easiest target.

skyrock, it good to have a friend like you, one who is so totaly off the mark, Mark, and yet willing to hold friendship above the desire to agree or force someone to listen to you.

third Ded i was in the 51 was a fair kill as bat said im a pony pilot came into horde found target took an angle and a snap/ deflection shot boom he went then i egreesed for speed and alt was only 2-3k above the fight not that much

First off, take that crap to the O'club.

Second off, The one time I remember fighting SkyRock I was in a c202 and he was in a Chog. I totally owned him repeatedly as he tried to pull a cheap 1-trick reversal on me, I evaded several times, shot him up no less than 3 solid bursts (mind you no cannon, but I've killed hogs in C202s with 1 burst before), one of which was right by the cockpit*. Anyways, after several more attempts to lose me I go vertical and plan on coming down to finish it. I'm 800+ and opening up and he floats past the stall on his nose and hits me with 1 ping from over 800 yards with a hizooka. He stalled out moments after.

I don't care how good you are, 800+ vertical instant single ping wing-killing shot is just pure luck. Up til that point he was totally my dinner, and if he'd missed he'd have died.

Afterwards he kept calling me lame for coming in with speed in a c205, even though I was in a 202 and corrected him he kept saying "no you were in a 205" to which I replied "dude, I was IN it, I think I know which plane it was!" or some such. Haven't really run into him since.

He seems decent enough, but like myself nothing special. Relies on the tricks he has, and if somebody knows how to avoid those tricks he's in deep trouble. [EDIT: Like myself.]

Funny thing is he coulda run any time, C202 is slow as hell. Overall I give the upper hand to Batfink, because duels mean jack squat in the MA. Duels are nothing but "who can turn the tightest, use whatever trick or gimick they have to get there quicker" whereas fights in the MA, even if 1v1, are never like that. Bat's better in the MA, better able to adapt, and I say this only because I've flown with him as a squaddie to notice that. Not saying he's a better shot, or he's a better pilot, just that in the MA he does things better than Skyrock, just from what I've seen.

I still think SkyRock's a decent pilot, but he's got too much of a mouth on him to ever develop into anything beyond that [i.e. "SkyRock owns this that you and everything"]**

* = I was hoping for a pilot kill after I saw this, but I didn't even get a pilot wound! Dadgummit!

** = Please forgive me for saying this SkyRock, I don't mean to offend but fear I will anyways. I don't know you that well personally and these are my totally subjective opinions on the matter, not to be taken as proof or definitive conclusion on the matter.

You seem alright enough, just a little unconfident. You mention "gimicks" and "tricks" which makes me confused. There is no "trick" to assessing angles and energy quickly or "gimmick" in understanding and following that with advantageous decisions in this flight sim game. It can be meticulously practiced to gain smoothness! Just for the record, I get outflown occassionally in the MA, but it's very rare! That sounds so incredibly arrogant that most find it nausous, whereas I find it none the bothersome whether coming from me or anyone else as long as it is birthed in truth. The fact that the only encounter you can remember of me was one where you started with the advantage, yet were the first to be in the tower, sets the tone in which your flying is based. By the way, I was confused about whether you were flying a 205 or 202, but that might have been due to the fact that you were one of 4-6 other cons 2-6K above me at the time! It doesn't really matter unless your humble enough to learn! I think you post too much!

Look me up if you want to fight some cartoon planez!

I learned to anticipate rather than react.

ACM is quite useful, I just use it to point my plane where the bad guy is going to be.
