If I choose a Hurri1 or C202/5 (there may be more...haven't fully checked it out)
then go to launch, I crash to desktop or get a white screen of death. That's in all arenas.

have you installed a soundpack recently? if so, then maybe those sound files are corrupt. if not a new sound pack, then........anyone??
oh, you will probably be asked for your dxdiag report, just the first third of list.
start-run-type "dxdiag"

I have a fresh install of the game. I had a virus or something in the computer..so everything had to be wiped and re-installed.

The only thing I've added is new gunsights. but the planes that are cacking are all on defaults sights.

change the gun site on those planes and see if it helps.

Life of a trucker....that appears to have been the prob......

Any gunsight above the standard 18kb size was causing it
