The game textures will fit in 320mb, skins textures won't.
In fact I believe skins textures (@1024) wouldn't even fit in the the new 1Gb video cards.

Skins textures have to be pre-loaded to system memory instead.

Tin just get the 640mb GTS or even better than that 768mb GTX.

Only difference is that my 640mb GTS requires one PCI-e power cable the GTX card has two.  Make sure your PSU is fat enough to handle either!


You will be impressed by the width and length of this thing its Huge!

One small problem folks, The cards you've recomended are PCIe and I have PCI and AGP slots, no PCIe.

If you've got money, the X1950 from ATI is now the AGP king. Newer card, pushes out the Nvidia cards (for now).

Nah, sod it, I'll build a new computer instead. Time for an upgrade anyway. That P4 was top of the line when I got it, I remember paying $500 for it. AS was the board.
