The talk was already started about Norm Green moving the Stars at the point.  He was a real $&^%(#^%#.  

So to some degree we were detaching ourselves from the Stars already knowing it was in the works.

That the Stars got that far at all that year was a minor miracle so the ride to that point had been great fun.  Kinda like the Twins winning the division on the last day last year.  That climb was so much fun, the play offs almost didn't matter.

So that wasn't as painful as it could have been :)
