I have realised through experience that if you can't take the time to do the panels and rivets your not going to be able to take the time or have the patience to do a decent skin anyway.
In my case I believe I have the patience to do the whole thing, I just don't have the time avalible. Between family, work, and "chores" around the house, I'm lucky to get 20 or so hours to fly a month. Trying to add in 20-30 hours of fiddling with skins, could take a year or so. By then all you "pros" will have all the avalible skins done and be well into the "bumping" process.
Having someone donate "panel lines and rivet" layers would cut the time almost in half, but you skinners are a possesive bunch!

I guess I'll just have to be happy to fly other peoples work..... as long as I don't have to pay any "royalties"
