wtg Lewis Hamilton! he won his first F1 race today!

after Schumi retired, i think i will become a Hamilton fan now.
I enjoyed every race this year watching him race, he is a really good driver.

and thanks good R.Kubica survived his horror crash today,
the impact was brutal!

And the Idiot Price goes to Massa & Fisichella for ignoring
the red light at the pitstop exit, LOL, both where blackflaged instantly

Kubica was very lucky only to have a broken leg.

The Spaniard had brain fade, BIG time.

I think the Hamilton hype is for once deserved. I know he has the best car, but you need to perform with it - Alonso proved that today.

It sounds like Kubica is ok, but it really had echoes of Senna's fatal crash for a while.

Is Lewis the next Ayrton Senna or Schumacher?

i've been watching him for 3 years now thanks to Eurosport a great driver to watch

it was just a matter of time before he stood on the top step of the podium
i only hope it don't  go to his head.

At least the race was interesting compared to earlier ones.. Seems that crashes make things lively. Luckily the crash was not fatal, looked really horrible.

Raikkonen had some technical problems with brakes (or so he said..).

Seems that Hamilton will make his entry into F1 quite spectacularly , first season and already he is the top dog.

Tronski - none of the drivers you named have had the instant impact Hamilton has enjoyed.

Time will tell of course, but I think he is the most promising driver in years. Certainly the record books would have him as the most promising ever.

 Hmm. I agree with Stuffy. Not one of them made the same impact, did they? Podium every race so far,pole on Saturday, won yesterday, leads the championship ahead of his team mate who is current 2 X world champ. He is very consistent. Infact he is the most consistent driver this year. He's a rookie! Good on him.

he's a great driver, he has control, maturity and precision beyond his 22 years.

i laughed when that fool alonso tried nabbing 1st straight off the line. no way with cold brakes + tires that he could slow down enough before turn 1



i think hamilton drove it really well. he was calm and precise, he drove a perfect race, even under all the pressure, and all the bloody SC laps if not for the SC i'm sure he'd have a good 60+ second lead.

extra credit goes to heidfeld + sato who drove well despite the competition.

The whole Hamilton story is a good one and i'm very happy for him to achieve his goals.  For a 10 year old kid to tell Ron Dennis that one day i'm gonna drive for you and to accomplish it is just amazing.


I also noticed that he has the very same birthday as me so there were 2 legends born on that wonderful day
