Polonium? :)

Plutonium, which was actually derived from Uranium in the first place.
Both bombs were fission devices.

I have a different opinion than most I guess. I feel the b-29 should be added to AH2. However, after many other holes in the plane set are filled. The B-29 was indeed used in many missions and roles in the PT. Last time I checked even the F4U-1C and Seafire were used in far less numbers than the B-29. If you want to complain about how high and fast it flies fine but I think a hefty perk price will make it a worthy target to the enemy (200ish a set?).

Half of me wants the atomic bomb the other half doesnt. In my line of thinking you will have a very expensive bird with a 500-1000 perk bombload. I dont know about you but I would sweat every dot I saw. The idea of a 600 perk worthless sortie is stomach churning. The other half tells me that the bomb would be abused and lead to other harmful gameplay. Youd see alot more milkrunning buffs then!

B29....yes....enventually!!
Little Boy/Fat Man..............no!

[Science]

Ummm! I beg to differ.  Fission is as you described.  Fusion takes two atoms and "smashes" them together.  The resulting atom is slightly less massive than the two seperate ones, and that "lost" mass is converted into energy.  This is what is happening in the center of stars.

The Fatman was a subcritical sphere of plutonium imploded to a supercritical mass with a pollonium-beryllium initatior in the core. The pollonium was used as a neutron emitter to kick start the fission process when the sphere was imploded. There was a uranium tamper around the core to reduce turbulence and reflect neutrons back into the supercritcal mass. The Fat Man was a technical marvel at the time using many new non-nuclear technologies.

The Little Boy used a gun assembly device firing a two subcritcal masses into each other by explosives down a howizter barrel using uranium as the fission material. Both were fission type devices however the Little boy used far more fissionable material than Fatman for the same explosion. Both were nuclear or atomic in nature using different methods and materials with the same end result. The release of neutrons and energy via splitting of atoms.

1st of all polonium isnt even a element!
2nd, there were only 2 atomic bombs made in WW2!
3rd the Ar234 flys high and fast so B29 shouldnt be that bad!
4th, if we dropped atomic bombs in even the largest MA places half the arena would be flattened and everybody would be fried!
5th, youd see B29s with atomic bombs landing 200+ kills.
6th, Napalm is a better and funner alternative to atomic weapons!
7th, we would have newbs in B29s blowing themselves up with atomic bombs!
8th, why dont you people get real and quit asking for atom bombs!
9th, 7714 isnt dead, hes in a looney house!
10th, we cant get the B29 until we get the He 111!

Listen to these 10 things and you arent stupid!

1.Polonium  is a chemical element in the periodic table that has the symbol Po and atomic number 84. A rare and highly radioactive metalloid[1], polonium is chemically similar to tellurium and bismuth, and it occurs in uranium ores. Polonium has been studied for possible use in heating spacecraft. It is unstable; all isotopes of polonium are radioactive.

Amazing what 5 seconds comes up with.:noid

2. Technically there were 3 atomic bombs in WW2......Trinity Test???

3.The AR 234 doesnt care 20,000 plus lbs of ord with defensive guns sticking out of it.

4. The atomic bomb dropped in WW2 only had a effective blast radius of 2-3 miles. Hardly a map wiper.

5. Whens the last time you saw 200 people in a 2 mile radius?

6.Funner isnt a word....

7. Noobs wouldnt be able to afford the nuke....heavy perk price?

8. The atom bomb only ended the war..........who cares right.....the most important technological advancement in warfare at the time.

9. Did he ever leave?

10. We do need other planesets filled first.

11. Panzer5 struck out on 8 out of 10.....all in all poor post!

Yet you must agree, napalm would be fun for ground targets such as goons.
