Can anyone name an obvious conservative who works at MSNBC, CBS, ABC, or NBC or CNN--Stossel is a Libertarian, Scarborough is...largely unwatched---I can think of SEVERAL obvious liberals who are given serious face time at FOX. And I never see a rational explanation of HOW FOX is biased, merely that they ARE.

I'm curious now as to what or who at Faux News creates the most revulsion?

I'm glad you posted this and I watched it Hawk.

Olbermann might have turned down the outrage and still have made a compelling piece.  But that's how things are nowadays.

It's been 3 years I've gone with out TV.  Don't miss it, and I read newspapers and browse online.  And yes, the O'Club too :D

Though I disagree heartily with many posters, the over all skepticism and claims that they think news purveyors untrustworthy could be a very good sign in it self.

I grew up when entertainment news hadn't been aired yet.  There was some guy reading the news, usually once a day.

The assumption was this stuff is important, and there's no need to jazz it up, make it up, spice it up so the network can drawn in more ad business and/or raise the fees next season to their advertisers.

I'm sure something like that went on back then, it just must have gone on differently.

TV wise, it was a superior time.

Once there was a time when one might go much of the day without communicating with others. The young generation of today is fundamentally different owing primarily to cell phones. I don't think we can yet appreciate how this will affect our society.

I don't watch TV news.  Not unless there is a major event like a war or the election.

At that point I am glad that FOX exists and I watch them.   It is at least not depressing.   If I switch to CNN or MSN I get to see them almost weep when a republican is getting close to winning or when we are winning in a war.

The other news stations are depressing.
