Heh...

BlueJ I don't think they should hand over a billion dollar piece of equipment to a man with "welcome aboard" tattooed on his noodle.

One thing about being in the navy I never regretted; never got tattooed.

I came very, very close on a couple occaisions but I am glad I had time to think it out.

BTW I think Down Periscope is frikkin' hilarious.  Dumb, but hilarious.

Got this one maybe a month ago. No gona lie. Hurt real bad. Still have to get family names put in it and colored. And a tan. Its fuzzy because its a cellphone. Red is not color, its pissed off skin.

Got this one while home on leave. My mom's statement was "I havnt seen you in months. You come home and we did nothing to make it memorable. Lets go get a tattoo together."

I never understood the attraction of Tattoos. Even when really young I never understood it.

I guess its a thing only for some people. For some each represents something important in their life. others, its a "cool" thing to do when your drunk.

My entire body is tattooed. Head to toe. The tattoo is a single giant depiction of me, real to life in color and down to the finest detail. Every freckle, every birthmark, everything right down to the pores on my skin have been gone over with a tattoo needle and re-colored in their natural shade.

Of course you can't tell that it's there, but it's there. I'm a giant walking tattoo.

It took weeks to do, and hurt so much I cried like left-wing liberal extra from the movie 'Deliverance'

mine are over thirty years old.   except for one fairly large dragon that I got a few years back to cover up some really bad stuff... jackal may understand.. few people knew what a lot of it meant but things like "FTW" are now pretty well understood.. so I covered most of those old things up.

I have never regretted the tats.   They are history.   There were some times when it caused a lot of people to see me differently... getting undressed in front of a woman for the first time with her sometimes... back before every skinny metalhead 14 year old had em..

The main thing is.. whenever I get too full of myself and think I am this normal great citizen, father, whatever... I get a glace of myself in the mirror while getting dressed or taking a shower and go..."you aint foolin anyone.. I know who you are."

We are what we are and we did what we did...  our mind trys to forget the bad and pump up the good.. tats, for better or worse.. become a permenant part of our history.

I have no idea what the rest of you will think in 30 years but it probly won't be as dramatic because...your mind will be able to tell you that "everyone had em back then"

I would, but if you saw it you'd say... I don't see a thing--as you wouldn't since the tattoo is just a re-coloring of my entire body in its natural color, with all its natural imperfections.

A brilliant job of color-matching, however. After the tattoo was done, I couldn't tell it was even there.
