I recently had to do alot of work on my PC. I downloaded AH and set it up like I usually do and my joystick and throttle wont work. In the AH clipboard under map controls they show that they are working but they don't work in flight. My rudders work fine(also Saitek). I can also map all the buttons on the joystick and throttle and they work. In windows everything looks good. I'm sure its something stupid I have over looked. Something I didn't switch on or off but I'm at the end of trying I need advice....

Are you sure you have them mapped to the proper controls? I know when I got mine, the throttle was actually set to the slider switch. Just a thought.

Are you using the SST software?  Make sure theres not some conflict between AH and other programmings that might throw things for a loop.

If you don't use the SST I highly recommend you get it.  There's lots you can do with it.

I'm not using the software. The thing is they show up in the clipboard. It see's the joystick. I can move the joystick and watch the y,z, axis numbers move up and down but when I get in the plane no control surfaces move. This is after calibration and everything else I can think of. weird huh?

Just a silly thought, make sure that you are mapping the controls in "mode 1"?

CYG is correct - for some reason AH maps the throttle to the slider on the throttle handle by default - you'll need to change this mapping to the Z axis if I recall correctly.

I would suggest using the SST software though - it will allow you to more fully utilize your stick and its buttons...let me know if you download SST - I can give you a couple of profiles or help on programming it...

It wasn't a silly thought Clerick. Thats what was wrong:rolleyes:

Last time I hooked up the X52 to AH it detected them and I didn't have to add them. This time it didn't....

The whole SST thing is to much for me and I find it easier to just use AH's system....when I can figure it out;)

LLB OUT!

Yeah! I helped!  If you want help with the SST software start with someone elses profile and modify from there.
