Controls going haywire
« on: May 27, 2007, 10:49:38 PM »
Had some issues tonight and was just wondering what if anything I can do about it other than...delete.

I applied the hi-res pack, I already had it but wanted to update it since the last patch.  I was getting jitters so I renamed the old cache folder, and it redid them.  I reapplied the hires pack and ALL is well now. :)  No jitters..

BUT now, I'm having strange problems.
Tonight while flying...for some reason none of my keyboard commands would work, or they would do something odd.  Not what was intended in other words, IE ~ would bring down my flaps etc..

Ok so after a reboot, all seems fine.  I'm diving in behind a c205 on a fellow trying to help and as I'm turning my controller locks up.  So now I'm back to the airfield and my mouse wont work.

????

Another reboot later, same issues...

any suggestions other than wipe the game and start over?  I'm planning on a fresh install of xp soon so I may just make that the incentive..not sure.

Sincraft, is your joystick and mouse USB?

All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC
