9/11 Song
« on: May 29, 2007, 07:36:11 PM »
My wife and I were talking about this, but can't remember the name of the song.
It might have even be the evening of 9/11 or the next day, but there was a music video that was  being played on TV that was saying something like "I am (overcome?) or soemthing like that over and over, that was really touching at the time with images from the attacks, etc.
Anybody remember the name of the video or who sang it?

Edited - I think I recalled it - I am ovecome by Live???

I would also recommend Jackyls' "Open Invitation" on this subject.

If it's the video with the female vocalist it was one of Enya's songs, Only Time.

Is this the video you were asking about?

DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Thanks Maverick, but that's not the one.  After I recalled the key phrase that was repeated over and over in the song, I loked it up and found the song "I am Overcome" by Live.  After listeneing to it, I'm pretty sure that was the background music for the video that was being shown on TV.  Haven't located the exact video yet, but still looking.
