Looking for a squad with GMT numbers...
« on: May 30, 2007, 09:11:37 AM »
Hi,

I've recently started AH again after a loooong absence and am looking for a squad to wing with; everyone in my old squad seems to have vanished. Historical scenarios and events were always the most interesting part of AH to me, so I’d be looking for a squad that was into that. Overall though I’m looking for a squadron that doesn’t take things too seriously.

I generally used to fly the Yak-9U – I guess that would be considered an easy ride by some, but it seemed to suit my flying skills (or lack of).

I’m UK based, so it would be cool if there were a fair few members in that timezone.

Cheers.

Hi Dowding,

My squad The Few have been in game for 2 years now.   We have around 20 members more than that if you can count the guys that have gone AWOL.  We recruit British and european players.

The squad is very relaxed and chilled out we like to do a bit of everything.  We arent country specific and rotate every now and again.  At the moment we are Rooks.

We use a 3rd party Vox server called ventrilo for better voice communications than in game.

My motto has always been quality and not quantity.  5 of my guys can do what 20  cannot.   However im always prepared to teach British players from scratch.

Look forward to hearing from you.

The Unforgiven is always looking for decent people to join, we pretty much fly anything, its just about having fun for us. The one thing we do is FSO (Fridaynight Special Ops) they are a blast, you are instructed what to fly for that particular night and given an objective to complete as a squad in a axis vs allies senario, its 1 life, 1 plane.

If interested contact someone from the Unforgiven anytime.

Hey Dowding!
Maybe we can interest you to try the 79th FG.
79th Fighter Group flys Bishops in the main arena. Under U.S. Army Air Force Command structure. We are listed as a Group; Which has 3 squadrons listed under a group command. Not all the Squadron Command postions are filled yet. We are also looking for 18+ members to join our squadrons. Working on a volunteer Operational Officer spot. Which would allow none command members to lead squadrons at times based on the training & knowledge.

Got your interest level up ? :huh

Then stop by the 79th Fighter Group Website. http://79thfg.low-ping.com

We fly on monday nights is Squad. Night. Check our website for time, place and vox channel.

Take care :aok
