I do think it is going down hill a little bit. But if they would make 1 arena with Axis Vs Allies it would be much better:aok  

I friggin hate going around shooting down allied planes when im already a allied plane. Grrr:furious

If they made it 1 arena with Axis vs  Allied ... they would go out of business.

If your tired of the LW BS ... check in the MW and/or EW. I pop into the LW every now and then ... and after 20 minutes or so ... I leave ... can't stand it anymore. I'd rather do H2H than the LW.

I might have to check out the AvA arena, but as noted, I look at the numbers at the login screen and there never appears to be anyone in there.

You can thank Hitech for the horde. Yeah I said it. Moving the airfields closer together, ENY, fuel porking, arena splitting, smaller maps and the abilty to change countries on a whim, has turned this game into an aerial shooter.
 When was the last time you saw the map won? Use to happen all the time. Now if you bomb a fighter hanger you have to hear about it on range chan. Guys fleet park, not to capture a field but to have a small furball in the "blue planes". Now it is all about score.
 Use to be guys would pork a base's fuel to limit the amount of bad guys that upped to make for an easier capture. You would get a group of pilots together and you would go and capture base after base. It was all about conquering the map. Winning. Now it is all about pillaging and plundering. :aok

they already have this arena, its called AvA in is just a couple selections down from the LW arenas. Of course it is not very heavilry populated.  HT has already said that 3 countries is how the Main Arenas will stay because its the best.

3 or 4 years ago it was much better in AH. more people wanted to fight. If that meant getting a group together to attack a base for capture it was ok, because others would up to defend it. Now most people are looking for the easy way out, sneak a base here, run away from defenders there, heaven forbid any one make a stand and fight !

Fights are there. I find myself nibbling at the edges of the hordes...find a fight on the fringe, or get someone interested enough to chase you out away from everyone else. I've done that lots the last few days, and I've had fun after reversing for a nice 1v1.


But yeah, lots of new names. Sometimes I'll be flying around and realize I don't recognize ANYONE in vis range. It's a strange feeling....

....but then, maybe they're all vets and I have alzheimer's kicking in!

Lately I've had much more fun in the DA then the MA and that never used to be the case. I'm not sure if it's because we don't see any big maps anymore or what but it quit frankly is boring to play now. If you do by chance see a single con away from a horde it's usually because it's a new fella that doesn't know what he is doing yet. It has become VERY RARE to find a good fight and it's a shame.:(


What do you think vets?



Thats one of the very reasons ive taken a break from the game for a while.

Try the MW of EW. Had lots of fun last night against the SOAR squad. They were base capturing and me and one or two other guys held them off at one base for a while. It was fun.

Guys i know thers 1 arena with AvA in it. Im not a newb. :mad:  

Anyways, no just 1 MA that is AvA. This is y im going 2 switch over 2 Battleground Europe. I'll still play aces high just 2 play with my friends but i rly think Battleground Europe is a lot better. Its similar 2 aces high but alot better. Its pretty much exactly what i want. :aok  If AH doesent start gettin better im gonna take some of my friends with me 2.

Battleground Europe use to be called "WWII on line". but so many people were burned by them and jerked along that they had to change the name to bring in some new suckers. Have a nice time! I hear Warbirds is awesome too !

NO, IT IS VERY REALISTIC. HAVE U PLAYED IT. IT HAS A VERSION OF THE P38 BTW. 1 of the main things i like about it is that theres ppl on the ground, REAL PPL.  And tanks,ships,ect. Noobs my arse.  :furious :furious :furious  

O ya unless u have some magical way 2 know my ip address when im playing AH2 then i can always get into ur arena. I just made a few names.  *cough*JimiH*cough*  *cough*SpitXIV*cough*


And im still gonna play AH2 just not as much.

agreed. what burns me up is when a huge pack of la's and nikis jump on you. just today an la hit me with exactly 2 pings, and my wings fell off. niki's and la's must be perked. id like to see more of the planes in my signature, they at least take some skill to fly.
