hrmmm, I'm sensing a theme here...

I'm hoping enough Americans can see through these scare tactics.  Doubtful, but hopeful...

That was a funny clip.

Scare tactics are all they have.   The problem facing Americans is: The Other Side of the Isle doesn't have any better clue about what to do either.

A POX on both political parties.

And now for the Democratic side...

Withdrawl, Withdrawl, Withdrawl...

Global Warming, Global Warming, Global Warming...

Amnesty, Amnesty, Amnesty....

Hillery, Hillery, Hillery...

Pelosi, Pelosi, Pelosi...

A do nothing Congress... What happened to the 1st 100 Days?

Nothing.

Pffft... I accomplished more on the 1st 100 Days of my marriage than the Democratic Congress has done so far.... yet I feel as if I've been F**Ked by our so glorious Congress.

I guess I should be thankful for BS or nothing would be fertilized.

"Sad but true", as Metallica once said, or as The Who opined: "New boss same as the old boss"

Repubs & dems have zero motivation to do a competent job... they will share power no matter how far, or how often they stick their pee pee in the pooch's poo poo... or a male interns who-ha. Hardcore lefties will never vote neo-clown, and religious righties would eat glass before voting Democrap.

Those of us who think both parties are beyond useless are met with phear, "OMG I can't waste my vote on a Libertarian or Ind candidate!" while mindlessly chanting the "must follow the other sheepeople" mantra.

The irony is voting repub and or Dem is more of a wasted vote because it's endorsing FAILURE and ensuring the country continues to circle the drain following the same FAILED policies... circling the drain to the right or left.. is still circling the drain.

I'd love to see national petitions that we can all vote on, take the incompetent party slaves out of the loop. Proposition 215 in Ca would have never become law if the losers in charge had their way, it's too much of a political risk, the party masters would never allow it, it took the people ramming it down their throats to get it done.. we should have the same on a national Federal level.

The lobbyists would go broke spending $$ on TV commercials rather than stuffing the fat faces of our so called leaders.

Where have the true Patriots gone from this Country?

What would the forefathers of our Constitution think right now?

Their spinning in their graves.

Our two Party System has let every American down.  Gets to be you can't trust a Democrat or Republican as far as you can toss one...

Wake up!!!  It's time to shed the sheep clothing and beat back the Political wolves.

Otherwise you are just too submissive and don't give a dam.

That is mainly due to the fact that there is no such thing as a Democrat orrrrrr Republican anymore. Hasn`t been in a long time. I get sort of a chuckle on the heated Dem/Rep arguments. They don`t exist. The plain and simple fact is that the only thing out there is Political Ebay. Up for the highest bidders.
Democracy is two wolves deciding on what to eat. Freedom is a well armed sheep protesting the vote.

Unfortunately, neither you nor I are going to willingly die for our freedom.  Nor shall we willingly be overly inconvenienced for it.  And I don't even own a television, growing up with books instead; the television addicts which comprise the great majority of the nation are even less likely to sacrifice for their freedom.

No, the sad end of the most free country the world has ever known will be in lethargy.  I do not know if we shall perish in nuclear war or in depression, or whether we will simply slowly sink down into the state of a second world totalitarian state.  But I do know that we are not rising again.

well... maybe the two parties don't exist as we would like them to but.. they never really did.   the thing that is really going on is that we simply have too much government in our lives.

As for not being different.. you need to look at what laws are brought up and who votes for em.

You will see that almost all socialism is instigated and voted for by democrats..  all gun control laws are brought up and then voted for right down democrat party lines.

Almost all new social programs are brought to the vote and voted on by democrats.

The republicans have their own problems but nothing near like the democrats.

It is sad that the republicans have failed so badly lately that the democrats are able to pass themselves off as being "not much worse".

Truth is.. they are a lot worse if you fear high taxes and socialism and the loss of individuality.

I fear that we can only slow big government by voting against the democrats but it is still worth it.

No matter how angry you are... never vote for a democrat... if he was worth a damn.... he wouldn't call himself a democrat.

Yes, the FBI is in this conspiracy of scare tactics too! :noid

WASHINGTON - The FBI has increased its use of secret search warrants over the past two years because of a "high tempo of terrorist activity," a top official said yesterday.

FBI Assistant Director John Miller said the 2,176 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act search warrants approved last year, compared with only 1,754 granted in 2005, mostly targeted plotters inside America.

"We're seeing a very high tempo of terrorist activity, not just based on the cases you're seeing being brought in the United States," Miller said in an interview yesterday for C-SPAN's "Newsmaker" program.

Miller said the warrants, issued by a secret federal court in Washington, are usually not a "way to a prosecution," but are "an intelligence tool."

The FBI's chief spokesman - who as a TV newsman conducted a 1998 interview with Osama Bin Laden - echoed other counterterror officials who say the U.S. may have underestimated top Al Qaeda leaders' ability to oversee operations in recent years.

One measure is the record-high output of video and audio messages from Bin Laden and his deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri.
Typically there has been "a two-year arc between major attacks to develop the plan and execute it," Miller said.
Al Qaeda is "on a bell curve and they're getting more effective" at planning new strikes while pushing propaganda to inspire others to "take that ball and run with it." "They're counting on both happening at once," Miller said. "They're better at this than they were before and they're thinking about it differently."
