I posted this in the skins forums, but no one replied to my post, and I'm getting mad at this thing.

I'm making an RV-8 skin and I can't get it to show up in the game. I know you have to make the folder name like (ex. p51d_1, or 109g2_1) but for the RV8 I do rv8_1 and it won't show up in the skin selection. Is there something I'm doing wrong with the folder name or do skins for the RV-8 not show up?

Will actually none of the skins I make show up. This is making me (yes I'm going to say it) mad and I'm going to Mexico Sunday and I want to see how my skin looks offline.

I'm not seeing any RV 8 in the skins folder, I'll look around a little more to see what I can find.

Not seeing RV8 anywhere except in the stdshape folder in the cache folder, and in there it's RV81_512 and RV82_512.

nope didn't work. Theres just something I'm leaving out. The only thing I should have to do is rename the rv8 folder with my skin in it to rv8_1 but it just won't show up in the game.

In your rv8_1 folder make a .txt file named "rv8" or what ever the folders name is. Dont put the _1 part though. Type something in the text file, waht ever you want it to be called ingame. I use "TEST" so I can find it easy offline, but since there are no RV8 skins type anything.

your problem is that you are putting rv8 it should be rv_1

Heres a pic of what the folder should look like. Since you not ganna submit the skin dont worry about the "info"
