RNZAF Corsair thanks
« on: June 13, 2007, 02:43:02 AM »
Just wanted to thank whoever did the RNZAF corsair. Ive been trying to do 'Tutae Wera' for ages and have submitted it twice but my painting skills are 'kak'.

I have lots of scans of other New Zealand planes I'd love for someone to try (Ive given up myself...) and if anyone wants to do one for me I'd really appreciate it.

I have or can get scans for
more corsairs
Kittyhawk
Mustang (territorial colours)

and absolute top hole skin would be a Spit MkVIII piloted by Alan Peart. A Spitfire pilot I have entertained here and shown aces high to. Alan is well over 80 now but flew in BOB, Nth Africa and Burma and was a confirmed ace. He wonderfully gave me an interview and answered lots of aces high questions for the lads a few years back. I have a great profile of his plane and would love for someone to attempt it for me. It would be an awesome thrill to see it in game.

btw, who (apart from the skinner) knows what Tutae Wera means?!!!  You may be surprised.

I believe you are talking about the F4U-1D I did, and you are welcome.  I did not do "Tutae Wera" but instead I did "Lil Audrey" that I had a picture of.

Glad you like it.
