USB Power
« on: June 19, 2007, 01:48:37 AM »
One of the kids got ahold of my trackIR clip with the LED's on it and puled it out of the plug  :cry :furious ...  I was thinking that since it only needs power and there is no data transfer that i could sacrafice one of the many USB cables i have laying around and patch it up.  Anyone know how to do it?

Are you speaking of the TIR 4?

It plugs into the USB port for power and to send info to the computer.

I believe the outer pins are ground and +5V while the two center pins are tx/rx for data.

Good luck with your project.
