I'm sure stranger things have happened, but Dubya may have actually appointed a good man to the bench.

This judge sat over a farce of a court trial, got called for his incompetence, and then thinks he has the footing to swing back?

I don't recall hearing this judge wax so chastisingly when OJ hired an army of lawyers and bought his get out of jail card for murder?

Perhaps because he was Judge Walton in DC.... not Judge Ito in LA?

That didn't stop him from offering an opinion on cases yet to be judged in courts over which he will likely not preside.
