If no one else is doing it. I understand that Normally they would be field modified to have 2 MGs and 2 cannons, but Its something i'd like to see ingame and be used in our many events on the finrus map that employs hurricanes.

Rough of it.

i was doing a russian mk2c but gave u because of the way the skin stretches and some things cant be skined.

also seeing as the skin updates that are coming every 2 weeks didnt even make it once i feel at the moment its a waste of effort.

nice work on the skin by the way

like i said to krusty dont forget the joint aboe the wing is not flat it does show up as beieing a seperate join so youll need to make it 3d

have fun

Ok. been busy last few weeks so i had little time to work on this skin. Done a bit more work on it.

Added heavy weathering around panels and rivets.

Note: Disregard the nose cone on the second picture, i noticed that i forgot to fix that, and only updated the first picture after i fixed it.

IMO it's too heavy. Sure it could look like that on top, where the old paint wears off, but I'm guessing they didn't paint the entire under-side black then repaint it light blue. Back off on the underside to 60% of what it is now (leave uppers as-is), and see if maybe you don't like that better.

If not, no biggie (I had to suggest it).

Most VVS birds I've seen had some sort of light blue on the undersides. Granted, it's not my forte, really, but it looks more white. Are you sure you have the right color for the undersides?

Yeah. after about 8 hours of looking at that i realized that the underside was too weathered. And i have lightened it some.

And I based the bottom color off the profile of 2 different Russian hurricanes. That i have. The one posted above, and the one for The Mk2d Bird i did. Both of them looked like an off-white tone.

And this picture, its REALLY bad quality, but it appears to me that the underside of the bird that isn't heavily shadowed is a white tone. (the only part that is really visible is just to the rear of the tail wheel, and the detached 40mm pods in the ground.)

I'd like to hear from our resident Russian experts on this. But if they arent available I'll change it to a light blue and see how it looks.

the hurricanes were usualy delivered in standard RAF cammo then the Russians useualy added or deleted markings as they saw fit.

i think the underside would be the normal RAF grey with just the russian markings added. As far as i know but i dont know much
