if any one goes and looks in the terrain forum you will find out what can and cannnot be put in to new arena maps

there are now fighter towns aloud

tank towns yes but no fighter towns no 20k mountains no bases above 6 k

The rules for a main arena map are long and tedious and trying to make one that htc like is getting harder and harder

Just cause I really dont feel like reading all the "stuff" about maps.. Would you be able to put three air bases 6.0K close enough together to be a "mini-fighter town"... Maybe a center island like Tank Town 6.0K no vehicle bases no spawns????...

Just seems a tad unfair to be able to have TT but no FT...

stg203 the answer would be no the airfilds have to be about 25 miles apart from the nearest base v base or other as a rule.

soo basicly no you cant hav a fighter town

HT states that they will not accept a map where airbases are < 3/4 of a sector apart. Although in some of the current maps there are some closer but not many. The 6K limit has a lot to do with getting a fully loaded bomber off the ground. Much higher than 6K and it becomes a difficult task. Especially for the noobs.

I almost finished this before the terrain changes. I simply do not have the time to complete this. I was thinking of sending the source files to HTC and see if they would like to complete it. It seemed to generate some interest here on the boards.

i agree the best map ever was Pizzamap
