First kill in AH, well we still go back to like 99 in beta. Wasn't my first sortie, but I am pretty sure I was in a spitfire and caught a p51 low and slow. Then again it was a LONG long time and many many kills ago.  :)

Rgr that, Warbirds was where I started

The only "first kill" I remember was taking down my dad in a 1v1 on our LAN when I was around 10 years old flying Warbirds 2. We were dueling in Ki-43's. BB-guns are awesome!

Can't remember my first AH kill, probably wasn't spectacular or anything memorable.

1st kill I was in a 109F-4 about 4 years ago in AH1. Heck, it wasn't even on my own computer. I was at my friend's house and he was showing me the game then let me fly around a little bit. Got two on my first sortie and then ended up getting shot down. From then on I was hooked. I Could only play for 4 months because of the switch to AHII, which my laptop couldn't run.

I shot down two planes today. I am beginning to like the P47. I dove down on an La7 going about 400 MPH, I just opened fire with all 8 guns and tore him to shreds. I pulled up and pulled up behind a B24. Blew up both left engines and the left rudder. It slowly spiraled down. He wasn't even in a formation! :rofl
Then I was getting low on fuel and I lost my left aileron and my right elevator, along with a fuel leak. So I was RTB, then a 262 dives on me out of nowhere and
BOOM! I am dead before I even had time to react. Good day for me today.

Congrats Natewolf.  That's really good.  Took me a looong time to get a kill back when I started (AW on the Mac, way back when, and no I'm afraid I don't remember my first kill).  And you're killing already in a Jug!  Nice work.

First kill: Bf-109G-14 flying next to TeeeRex and... god, his name escapes me, but he was with the 332nd Flying Mongrels. Theyd just finished FSO, and I was applying for their squad... they took me to an enemy field, and I just followed them. I got behind a Spitfire mk IX I believe, and killed him. Hit a tree trying to avoid the debris and died.

No.

(11 years worth of kills later)

But I do still vividly remember a few fights from back then.  All in Spits.

One against a 109, the first time I really got saddled up on someone trying to shake me and he couldn't.  He tried everything.  Now THAT was fun!

One against a pair of P-51's working me over.  I'd chase one and just as the other aquired my six I'd turn then I'd chase him and just as the first aquired my six I'd turn again over and over and over... eventually I got both of them.

One against a pair of Spits, all three of us flat turning on the deck but I'd lift through opposing ends of my turn, just slightly out of plane and just enough to eventually close the gap.  Again, I ended up getting them both.

The first 2 fights were both in the VOD (Valley of the Dweebs).  The other was near the mountains on the east side of CZ land near the river and the bridge.

Speaking of that bridge, I flew under it one night dragging a con.  He hit it and died trying to follow me... lol.

And speaking of getting close to stuff I was dueling a squaddie one night at one of our bases (you could kill friendlies back then) and we were so low chasing each other around the tower that we kept losing sight of each other because the tower was in the way.  That was maybe the best one-on-one duel I've ever had.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

My first kill was in a P-51D, I killed USAgirl who was in a Flak Panzer. My first Air to Air kill was also in a P-51D taking out a 190A8 over tank town on Trinity.

My score for my first tour was 131 Kills, 420 Deaths. A 111 of those deaths were in the C-47A. I also scored 10 kills in the C-47A that tour. My next tours stats were 377 Kills, 470 Deaths and my third tour was 337 Kills, 346 Deaths. Finally my fourth tour was 113 Kills, 89 Deaths. So as you can see it took four months of flying before I ended up killing more times then I was killed. I miss the good ole days in AH.
