Ventrilo Pranks: The Funniest Server Ever

This is the story of a bunch of guys who developed a fetish for pranking people over Skype. Eventually they realised that they were ****ing hilarious and set up a Ventrilo server so they could share the laughter and all that bull****.

I want to share this with you guys because it's pretty typical internet based humour that you all seem to dig, and I think you'd really like this.

Basically, if you choose to get on here and wile the night away listening to these guys amuse, infuritate and entertain people, you'll be in a channel with roughly 200 other people on average, everyone is muted with the exceptions of the broadcaster, and some choice admins. They expect the people on there to be in chat simply as a sign that they're listening and not just away. Spamming chat gets you banned and annoying the broadcaster's on MSN/X-fire will get you banned too.

Anyone in the channel can put a US/Canadian phone number in their comment with a little information about who it is, what they do and why you think they should be prank called, and if they like the sound of it they'll do it.


 
Matt and Ownage: Ownage is the man of many voices. Recently recorded the new welcome message and rule of the Ventrilo in his thick indian accent. The things this guy can do with his voice makes me hard, seriously. He can really pull off the following with a great level authenticity: Indian, Chinese, Hick, and general white. He also pulls off a damn good radio presenter and a whole lot more. If you're not into the more heavy hitting stuff that Matt will go for, this guy will definitely float your boat. Mother****er raps like a pro too.

If you don't have Ventrilo:  Go to http://www.ventrilo.com/ and download the main client. Install and run the program, then make a username to use in Vent. Then come back here and click the join link to be transported to the 24/7 Vent.

Ventrilo is a voice communication program. Users install and run the Ventrilo client program and connect to a Ventrilo server. Most people use a headset and talk as if everyone was in the same room together similar to a conference call. Default sound quality is comparable to a telephone and can be changed to a higher quality by changing to a different codec. Bandwidth is a concern to 56k modem users however at the lowest sound quality it is useable.
