Been getting this error
Re-installing Drivers to correct.
I was in NDIsles at the time.

Seems to occur when I move CH USB joystick right then left to look under the wings. No enemy there but everything except sound freezes.

I must hit restart button to get out of the problem

I'll take a guess.  You have an NVidia video card and are using some version of the 9x.xx drivers?

Or you have an AMD dual core CPU, or Intel Centrino dual core CPU.

Did I get close?

Intel board, ATI X700 Vid, Intel 2.6 PIV/HT ,SB AudigyII Soundcard

It occurs about 20-30 minutes in game.
I also get a joystick momentary no response occasuionally. I move the stick and nothing happens or I move the stick and the plane goes into straight and level flight. I center stick and then flight starts responding again.

Either the computer totally freezes or I get the stick problem, but not both.

I have Recalibrated both in windows and Game. Still happens. (you have to re-cal in Game after Windows)

Boy, did I miss that one.

Check for interrupts being shared with the Audigy card.  Creative drivers do not play well with others.

I tried uninstalling ang re-installing AH.
I first chose to fix the program, but it showed so many files that needed attention that I just removed it all.

Seems to be ok now, flew about 3 hours last night with no problems.
Thanks
