The writeup for the next scenario looks good.  I will be looking forward to it.

Something very similar is running in FSO right now. One question I asked, and I'll ask it here:

Fw190A-8 is hopelessly outclassed by all those allied fighters, ESPECIALLY at alt, so how about ditching it, moving the 190D to its slot, and putting in the Ta152 in the 190D's slot?

It's not like the 152 is a major threat to fighters, but it would actually be able to perform above 15k (unlike the 190a8)

Just a suggestion!

Completely agree. Looking at the plane set the Allies completely out class the Axis at high alt.

Well thats just IMOP

Doobs can't be Axis CO, he has more experience running a scenario in Aces High than I do.  It won't be FAIR. He already has a team in place!  I don't!  He will have a lead on me! :rofl

[edit] Ya know I figured it out.  Doobs want to be a CO in the next scenario.  So he is stiring the crap to create the impression of unfairness and a "demand" for an instant Axis CO/Team which "is always in place".

Smooth.  Way to crap all over the next event for your own needs bud. :huh

Yeah you got it all figured out

Rosco, you've got 109K-4s. The Ta152 was out and in service about the same time as K-4s were.

It was just a suggestion. Sheesh.

EDIT: Looked at the description again, it says October '44. That means there shouldn't be any K-4s either. Even doras were rare at this time.

Good luck getting axis to sign up with only G-6s adn G-14s and 190a8s vs the best of the allied planes :aok

EDIT: The above was probably pessimistic. I shouldn't say that. Numbers will be the same regardless, but it is something to think about. Unless something prevents it later, I do plan on signing up also.

I thought that was Nov/Dec of 1944, and the Ta152H was about a month later in Jan/Feb  of 1945?

How about some 262's for the Axis

It will probably be fine the way it is (*shrug*) and since the event designer has already put a list up, chances are that won't change.

Husky: Thing about 163s is that they're fixed to a location. All the allies have to do is fly around them and avoid them!

True but if the Allies are assigned targets to hit, the 163s could be stationed at the target area..... Just a thought.

I really didn't intend to request a total re-write of the scenario. A lot of planning goes into these things and to start including 262s and 163s totally changes the entire dynamic of the setup. I'm sort of sorry I brought it up now. No offense to husky or trax, I just didn't want to make that much of a fuss is all.
