Jeez what a bunch of whiners.   Participate in the scenario or don't participate, but give the guys who take the time to put these things on a little credit for having thought this stuff out.

I've been on both sides of the lines for those things.  First one I put together way back when, i couldn't believe how folks got bent out of shape when it didn't fit their idea of how it should work.  I'd never been ripped like that over anything in a game before.

And the first big scenario I participated in way back when, I got too carried away and pissed and moaned to my everlasting regret as the folks who had designed it had worked their tails off.

It's a thankless job because there will always be some 'expert' who has never done the work, to tell them how it should be.

Shut up and design your own if you have all the answers.  I'd sure love to see the perfect scenario that pleases all.

Funny part is the one that ticked me off the most is still the one I'd fly again in a heartbeat if I could.

 Iy always does.   The exception is usually an Eastern Front scenario.

Westy!   Good to see the voice of truth and reason again!

Fencer thanks for taking the time to design what I am sure will be a great Scenario.

Count me in Allied.....Jugs...and for help in any way that I can.

Westy you best get in this one!

And for you that are whining already all I have to say is.

"I can't believe this!"  Someone has taken his valuable time who has vast experience at designinng scenarios as well as placing the correct skins for the event into the game and people are complaining already?  And to Boot this is a realistic occurance during the Air War in Europe.

In all honesty I am completely discouraged with some of the people and comments that have been made at this point before the Scenario even flies.

Come on Folks.  Some of you need to grow up.


Fencer, again count on me for any help that you may need.
Thanks for your work.  Many many of these people did not participate in AW Scenarios so they know not of what they speak.

Some should think........then keep their mouths shut.:aok

As I see it we have the 56th and 78th FGs along with the 4th am I correct?

what about the 262s in "kommando nowotny"?  
they downed 19 allied planes to 6 Me262s lost in august 1944

on november 8th 1944 Nowotny was shot down(there is a snapshot on this :)  )  which means 262s were in service early november 1944.  I think you should put them in.....nothing else in and axis plane set and match the P51Ds at alt

I've done 262s vs massive bomber raids...

Usually 262s are worth more points to the enemy when killed, are easily damaged by defensive gunners, and lose half their guns, an engine, or their pilot to the first ping. Also a fast pony can break their attack run if he's smart (not kill them but prevent the attack).

IMO while a nice "neat-o!" factor, they're often a PITA for the axis that have 'em

I have very good reasons for the plane set and why certain planes were not included which I am not going to post here.

That is between the Axis CO, the CMs and myself.

Besides I can only state why it was designed the way it is.  I will not be making the final call on any of this, I am not a CM (thank goodness)

Nothing is final, but I can guarrantee that I will do all I can to ensure the 56th FG and the 4th FG will be in the scenario!

Be nice to get the 78th in also.  We already have a D25 under 78th markings.  I think this could be a huge event.  This is basically the Air War over Europe.  Massive flights of Bombers and Fighters in the air.

I do hope the Community responds well and in great numbers.  Scenarios of this ilk are few and far between.  It is on a larger scale then the Battle of Britain or any Pac air battle that comes to mind at this moment.

56th is so far the 3 Ive talked to are going Axis though not Allies.
