It's time for me to fly
« on: June 30, 2007, 08:21:11 AM »
Friends I've met over the years:
It's time for me to leave this wonderful BBS that has been a pleasant journey dating back to the early days of AH.  The friendships I've made will never be forgotten.  It's been alot of fun joking, debating, even crying with you guys online and watching our "families" grow up.

*There comes a time when a guy needs to look at the horizon, put the rubber to the road, and take some time off.

So, in closing, it's been a pleasurable journey with all of you, friend and foe alike. I wish you nothing but clear skies and happy trails. May your cannon always be full, and may Fester always be on your 12 0'clock. :D

*See you in two weeks, I'm on vacation. :D (You didn't think you could get rid of me that easy, do you? ;) )

That is the stuff a young boys memories are made of.  Looks like a great time.
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I too just got back from my vacation of playing in the Pisgah Forest... fun.. fun.. fun!!  I'm going to have to remember to get some memory foam for the saddle. I like horse back riding but those damn saddles hurt if you don't have much padding on your rump.

Great photos there Rip!
