With all respect, i dont mean to start an argument with you here... But i am curious, are you Deep's shade account or something?  Do you even play this game?  Do you even know anything about or done any duelling?

No need for that.  You asked me to post the film.

I am guessing that is aimed at Biggles.

FTDeep, you made a few critical mistakes in the F4U duel.

Furball was able to get lower than you. When you merged, Furball was already about 20 degrees nose up. You were about 20 degrees nose down. Thus, Furball already had a 40 degree advantage. However, you added to this by beginning you reverse far too late. When your nose was horizontal, Furball was in the vertical, a full 90 degrees ahead of you. He needed only to go another 90 degrees in his immelman, while you were just beginning to reverse.

If you examine the image below you can see exactly how he beat you. More than just beat you, he was literally waiting for you....

In that second film, you reversed downward and rather late too.... You basically set yourself up to have Furball on your six in a blink.

I suggest some dueling practice with someone who does it often. Dueling is a skill not acquired in the MA.

Some simple advice.... If you find yourself in a diving merge, don't reverse immediately as you'll provide a nice fat target. The other guy will always beat you on the reverse. Extend out 1.5k to 2k and then reverse into a second merge.

About as clueless a comment as can be....

WW summed it up nicely. FT isnt a very good merger, never really has been (doesnt mean he's a "bad" stick). A duel will play out based on how both parties act and react. you cant ever fault a guy for playing what he was delt. Passing on a solution often comes at the expense of E, angles or both. If someone chases a HO or other poor choice the comment may have some valididty.

This is coming from a guy who posted:

A film of a 109 squad mission toally ignoring him because he couldn't hit anything then claimed they all ran from him.

A flim of him spraying and praying then another pilot comes along and finishes the job and he claims to have some secret move that works every time.

A film of a figure 8 map through pylons where he claims to teach people defelction shots but every shot is a HO.

Please... do a forum search to find these films for a good laugh.

Having a bad merge is basically lack of DA time. Its very repetitive but for each plane their is a style difference.

Experience plays a major factor in our game.......

I am willing to bet that furball can tell if his stick is going out realllly fast.. He also has a smooth merge along with a good stick can do wonders.

Furball ownt!  He is a much better stick the DEEP, easily.  He flies much smoother and knows acm's very well.

You're actually got lucky he even merged with you furball, the first time I met FTDEEP in DA, he was no show.  Then I started fighting someone else out of boredom.  All the sudden I see a blip coming in from adjacent dueling fields so I start looking.  I see a plane coming in from like 12K and he bnz's me, I'm like, "who is this?", and he got hits on me and I bailed.   FTDEEP has just shot you down.   LMAO  then he comes on 200 and says, "I win" and logs back into MA!  What a terd!:aok

Pay no attention to him Furball.  He's the twit that posted the film in how to do Head On shots and was rejected as a trainer because, well, he wasn't up to par.  For him to comment on anyone's flying is like, to steal an over used cliche, the pot calling the kettle black.
