In the line of great talks given at TED, like Burt Rutan's, here's Bill Stone's 2007 presentation.
I think it is this sort of drive forward that makes life worthwhile.  I don't work in the same field, but seeing people like Rutan and Stone is almost enough to make me regret having a mostly unrelated passion.

I don't like the underground exploration so much though it is very impressive but the europa exploration and the moon hydrogen on the south pole sounds friggin awsome.

He said in the video he intends to lead the moon mission even though it could be a one way trip but if it works it will open up space to exploration like never before.

Yeah I'm not much of a fan for caves, but you have to hand it to them... 3+ days and 30km from the surface entrance, 2.5km deep, places no one has gone yet, further and deeper into the planet a month at a time in such a labyrinth and it becomes really awesome.
The space stuff is better yet :)

I really like the Ted Talks site, moot.
You posted the site in another thread and I watched several talks in the futurist section. Good stuff.

This was another good one..the guy has vision and is moving forward.

Sun

Maybe there aren't monsters down there that will eat you, maybe there are. ;)
