Great question.
When I ordered custom plates for my vette and Dakota, the DMV screwed up and switched them around.  My vette plate went to the dakota....etc.

I went to the DMV to switch them around and the clerk told me I would have to pay for the registration on the expired vette tags. I said "No problem"

Then she looked at my registration and in her system and said, "oh no, wait a sec. You have an emission test required on the corvette in order to register the car, we can't switch the plate until  it passes emissions."

Knowing full well that my car will now never pass emissions(mods), and that indeed it was my year to be tested,(I just wanted to switch the plates) I said "What ??!" I was referring only to the fact that they couldn't switch my plates.
A watching supervisor overheard and walked over to inquire what the problem was. The clerk pointed out the emission requirement on her monitor and again said she couldn't switch the plates without the emission test. Again, referring to the fact that they couldn't switch the plates and not about the emission test I said in a disappointed voice,"Aww, that's not right."

The supervisor thought I was talking about having to be tested so he told the clerk, "That's always wrong in there(their computer). Change it to next year."

So, the clerk changed the date in the computer(I stood silently by in joyous disbelief) and I did not have to take an emissions test.

Well I think u were right gunny when u said u cant tell others how to play the game, I guess everyone forgot that befor the bish took over TT the rooks had it LOL;) and yes to win the war u pretty much have to have those bases.

If the other countries were afraid to lose it, they should have defended it. Even with TT taken I saw plenty of GV battles and furballing. The truth is everyone has a diff opinion on how the game should be played.

Not deciding against u or with u on this one. Its WAR there are no RULES but yes we all get agravated with things like ENY, squakers, and doushbags;)

to be fair, if people wanted TT so much, they would be happy to defend it, and have good fights. However they dont want good fights, they just want to spawn camp, and wack a mole gameplay, because they cant "fight" at all.

"TT" is just 6 bases free for the taking.

Well on the TT map, there is very little opportunity to use GV's except at the center island. Most other maps if you can't GV from one base you can typically find a fight somewhere else.. on TT map, that's most often not the case.

Not everyone wants to furball and fly fighters 24/7

I don't see why TT is so special. If the TT players want to keep it then they need to defend it. Each captured base whether it be in TT or any other place contributes to the 'ultimate' goal of winning the war. Now I know that winning the war is not on everyone's agenda, but hey you can't get mad at someone for how they play the game.
