I'm guessing this was the Baltic map as I saw it there a few weeks ago and I simply forgot to send film in.

If you liked the view from the guns on the CV, you should have jumped into a plane and just sat on the deck!!   You basically did a hovercraft thing skimming along the ground, climbing over the mountains, etc... that is until you find a pesky piece of vegetation which has a solid component to it!

on my other comp I have vid of this happening on the TT map with the knight cv. the course was set to "patrol and aimed at an island.  later we noticed the cv was going through the landscape moving very oddly. I flew over in an LA-7 and saw wakes but no ships on the land. I was goin about 350 and the cv was keeping up at times. when it reached the water again it was fine except the rout went to default and the ship was no where near its port so every time we tried to change the course it said waypoint touches land. while on the land we could not take off from the cv as it would register a crash upon clicking the fly button.

That was for the Convention though; they meant to do that.
