AH2 freezing
« on: July 09, 2007, 05:07:28 PM »
I recently reinstalled XP after giving up on vista which came preloaded on my HP A630N comp.  All updates for xp and all driver updates have been completed.  What happens is that sometime after I get to the screen to choose online/offline arenas etc or up to 10 mins after getting into an arena the computer crashes, I cant get to desktop, and since this comp didnt come with a reset button, I have to pull the plug to restart my comp.  Any suggestions?

That video card driver version number looks wierd.  Where di you get it?  If looks like a 5x.xx version driver form NVidia, but that cannot be right.

I've found that I have problems with any driver that I didn't get from MS in Vista. Nvidia, Creative Labs and Netgear. If I use the manufacturer's drivers, I end up with a whole host of problems, and not just in AH.
