TIR cleaning fix
« on: July 03, 2007, 06:30:19 AM »
I forgot who posted here on cleaning the reflector tabs on the Vector clip but THANK YOU.

I was getting frustrated with crappy, jerky motions with TIR after  a couple of years with it.

A little soft soap and some water and WALAA.. all is smooth as silk again.

The view option shows 3 big bright fuzzy dots now where 3 little hard to see reflections used to be.

Glad it worked.:)

That jerkiness nearly drove me insane for days. I tried to adjust lighting, shut down processes, reinstalled drivers, summa sumarum: did all the "fixes" you could find in the various forums... 'till I finally came up with this easy solution. DOH! :p

Ooops, I missed that one.

Rear views work fine. Every view position you can set up with PgUp, PgDwn, arrow keys is reachable with TIR. You have complete freedom of movement. To look backward around my headrest I just turn my head to one side (app 30 degrees or so), then lean a bit to the side (just like you do set your view with an arrow key).
