4v4 in the last 15min, and we were a few thousand below you guys.  It was a fun because each dora actually put up a fight, but we had the better planes, so it was all about whether or not we had enough time.
Time's fun when you're having flies.

The Bad Guys hit the city and the field at A-75.Some of us were able to re-arm for a second run.Sunbat hit the VH and 1-FH in both his runs. Most of our people didn't have much time in the 234 but they still had fun.

Well I have to blame Joker for that He was three sheets to the wind by that time and dove in on all of you. We all said crap and went in to help. I stayed fast and zoomed back up as I was the only one left and was going to bug out when I got hit. That was one lucky shot as he was 1000 out and just spraying away. It was a fuel tank hit and I ran out of fuel in short order. I waited for two to close in then bailed

I must take all the blame.... by the time we met I was well into my 6th or 7th drink and screwed the pooch.... I should be credited with 9 kills as I surley got the 4 of us killed with my stupidity:)

If I had flown the way I did for most of the evening it might have turned out differently.

All in all my squad and I had an extremely fun night.

Thanks for the kind eulogy Kermit:)

Daddog, It was the 56th that attacked the city.  The orders were to go in high together with the 475th, but the 56th decided to go NOE instead, which ended up working rather well for them.  They approached from the south, and departed to the south at treetop level.  The 475th would have found you for sure except they ended up chasing some 262's around for a long time on the way to the city.

In my estimation, the battle at A46 was the hardest fought battle on the night.  The opposition was organized and fierce, with 262's, 109's and 190's trying to get to the bombers.  The fight lasted quite a while, but our guys managed to protect the bombers, and bring them home.

Up north at A13, I am less informed about, but it seemed that MGD's group of B24's had very little damage, so I would guess that 68Falcon's escort group did a good job of paving the way for them.  They reported that it was nearly completely destroyed on the first attack.

Kermit's Killuminati and the 613th Pariah were defending A75, and after the first wave, they were down to around 10 planes.  I tried to send him reinforcements, but Kermit quickly replied, "No, we are good," clearly trying to stake out as many opportunities he could find for his Tempest group.

The AK's were defending Metz city along with the Rogues, and although they pounced on the enemy attack as quickly as they could, they couldn't prevent the entire city being destroyed by the 110's in the blink of an eye.  There was some pretty good teamwork to take down the city so quickly.

Every squad I talked to had a great time, which is not suprising, I hope the Axis enjoyed the experience as well.

Ya the 56th departed from what base was it 48? We headed South NOE till we where almost to the bottom of the map. We then turned due East and traveled south. Once we past I think Bulse? something like that and the Rhine we turned into the city heading NE. We where carrying 2 x 1000lb bombs. The good thing about our approach was the City is in a valley so we did not need to pop up per say. We had at least 5 guys fly over out head but luckily they never saw us. So we dove down in the valley dropped our 2 eggs and hit the deck heading SW. then re grouped and flew cap for 48.

Just a short very poorly written flight recap for you. I would of made it nicer but Im tired:D
