Look what I seen today
« on: July 13, 2007, 11:25:25 AM »
Leaving the grocery store, and heard a plane fly over. Looked up, to my surprise it was a biplane. Went over to the local airport and caught an aerobatics team there practicing. Apparently saturday and sunday there is something going on at the airport, but I havent found out what it is yet. Took 3 pictures, but my camera sucks too much to get more. Crappy pictures is better then nothing, eh?

Nice.

But, had to take dad to the docs this AM. While sitting the parking lot waiting for him hear a noise, not sure what it is as the am next to a highway with lots of traffic. As the noise gets louder relize it is in the air.

Lo and behold it is a/c from the Micheal Potter collection, his Spit XIV and Dog Pony flying in formation, about a wingspan seperation.  They were at 300-400ft. Came back about 5 minutes later for an encore flyover. Nothing like the sound of 2 Merlins to get the heart rate up.

Must learn to carry the camera ALL the time.

Nice! Pitts S2B, Su26M, and the third one I suppose it's the RV at the end. I believe the US Nationals are around the corner, but I can't remember where they are  held this year.

Here's a pic a friend of mine took this last weekend. It's good to have a friend photographer when you fly :D
