You guys are killin me, Lusche finally gave a plossible answer of why it isn't here, but everyone else must be doom and gloom, I didn't say I wanted flight prohibiting weather or hurricanes, nothing that would make the game unplayable for even a novice, which I border on being my self.  Just simply a little incliment weather, a light rain sower, a light sciff of snow, or a little bitty fog bank, your imagination is taking it to the next level.  I am thinking very small and inconsiderable not the 100 year weather event.  Come on pull your heads out.

In case you don't know it Nimrod (lol) we had just what you are asking for years back in Aces High 1.

For many reasons (some listed above) the weather was removed.

This is however the "wish list" so wish away.

I prefer to not have to dive bomb through heavy clouds and rain squalls (one of my more memorable sorties from years ago).

Every reply before Lusche gave you the same information in spades. Your selective interpretation does not negate the fact that we all pointed out valid reasons for the way it is.

Negative Krusty, you guys are interpreting my wish for something that would hinder game play, one last time I am not asking for weather so bad that it woul ever hinder any mission you set out on, I don't want tanks to be stuck and I don't want planes to be grounded.  I was thinking very mild weather patterns.  I don't want know how to explain it any better nor do I care to.  If you guys want absolutly perfect weather and 100% unlimited visibility then good for you, you have it now, though war has never been waged only when it was nice and that gos for air war to.  Though I am sure ever troop through out history would have chose the same had they had the option.  Lusche gave they only really good technical reson as to why not to have weather, not an "Imagine this" scenario that took a little weather and made it a hurricane.  I would still like to have clouds though I am sure someone isn't going to like having to fly when their is any gind of limiting factor.

My direct quote from your first post shows you were talking about visual range being so obscured you couldn't "lob shells" at 1000 yards' range.

That's a pretty damn significant change in gameplay. You weren't talking "just visuals that don't affect the game" you were talking "let's change the game in a big way".

If there was haze so thick you couldn't see at 1000 yards, you couldn't fly over 2000feet, you couldn't take off, land, do anything, let alone find a fight and engage the enemy.

I have been on a couple of maps that had some effective weather. such that you could not see the target due to cloud cover or even fog.  This was in the MA but I forget which map. was a lot of fun trying to hit the target, when the cover opened up for about 30 seconds over the port of airbase.

They are already in the game under the name N1K-2. They can hover in mid air and then zoom away real fast.:aok

Guess what!? During the Battle of the Bulge Germany(lacking air suppremacy without a chance to get it back) chose to have the offensive when there was bad weather so the Allied infantry could not get close air support from their air force. Wars were fought in winter in the air and on the ground but when there was a blizzard the infantry on both sides would have to wait for it to clear before air support became available.
This wasn't a problem for Germany in the Battle of the Bulge because they didn't have very many close air support planes at the time and any they had were probably on the Eastern front.
