:lol Did that one too.

Started Red Baron on the old Sierra Network in 1992, in about two months I moved from that to Air Warrior DOS. Took a break from 94-97 because I had moved and didnt have internet access. In 1997 I joined Warbirds, stayed there until 2001 when I joined AH.

If I had as much skill as I do experiance, I'd be a dangerous man. :D

Back in the early 90's cram was the hubby's ID for the 1.99 an hour game on AOL and I was the wife ack who said things like:

Just die you can up another plane ...
Just park the tank somewhere and get this garbage out ...
Oh and the best ...

HERE I'LL TRY TO LAND IT WHILE YOU CARRY THIS LAUNDRY DOWN FOR ME!!

That is the best because after I crashed his perk plane with kills ... LOL I up'd a tank somehow at TT got a kill and was hooked!!

So after buying another setup and upgrading to what was needed for the EA games merge, here we are figting over who can auto climb to get those chores done! I usually win by the way.

How ironic ...
In the 90's I said what a waste of time and energy
and now
I plan it in my schedule to be on a few hours almost every night!

I also love the BBS and have had one of the best times getting together with and pm'ing other players.

Funny conversations these years have made ....

Been out to dinner with Nghtmare (who was cram back in the AW day) saying things like ... did you see when I landed 19 in the pnzr ... I was camping the vehicle hanger and they were all LTARS!! Was a proud moment for me way back then and the people around us just looked at us wierd.

only been playing sims online since about november 2003, AH1.

started on microsoft FS3.1 and TFX back in about 1995 or so, just never got online till AH1.

sometimes i feel like a long term player, others i feel like a newb still, i think thats what makes the game fun for me.

I started in AW on AOHell in feb of 1996 and stayed with AW until it's demise on Gamestorm at the hands of Electronic Farts (still will not buy any game from EA), and then migrated here immediately after EA closed the doors on AW.  I've been here ever since.  I was DOC1 in AW and awDoc1 here.

I have been here since A/H beta.

Played warbirds from the fall of 1995, until Aces High came along.

Had flown EAW online for about a year before that.

'98. Warbirds. Started playing that at the old gaming shop The Other Side (TOS). The next year I started at home just before The New Guinn Campaine. When Hi Tech opened Aces Hight to Beta, I signed up then.
Been around on and off since.

AW2 & 3 (June 97 til EA turned out the lights on 7/12/01). Been here ever since, with a couple of breaks. CPID's been "asw" all the way through.

Id have to say the majority of the player base, is not well represented by the majority of BBS users. And I sure hope I'm right because gameplay has definately decreased and I was all to happy to assume it was because of our new "airquake" player base.

FTR- I started in AW in 1997-98 and stayed until it was completely shut down, then came to AH with the rest of the AW hold-outs. Here ever since, aside from taking about a year off the last time I got disgusted with gameplay-   Sure hope we get some new maps soon-

I played online with ...

the AOL Warbirds thing, then went to Warbirds & Warbirds 3 from 1998? until 2001.

Flew AH tours 31, 32, and 33 in 2002

Flew AH tours 40, 41, and 42 in 2003

rejoined AH in May 2007 tour 88

Prior to that I played every box WW II game I could get my hands on. I think my first plane game was F-15 for the Apple IIc.
