A little footnote to this, I've timed my 0-60 at about 4.8secs, bit faster than the 5.3 they claim, like I said earlier though. I don't like to really push it as knowing my luck, the CHP will be lurking around....

Thanks Hawco, thought it would be a straight six. I know what you mean about them being ticket magnets. My V-6 Mustang isn't all that fast, it is colored Grey and it still seems to attract those guys...

That's not even an M, is it? Bit surprised by the turbos- I don't recall seeing a turbo on any bimmer but an early 70s 320 (Ci designation, i think). They must only hire crazy engineers these days.

My old roommate had an 88 M3, and the 320 before that. His father had a mid 80ish M6, a 2002, and a couple of donor cars for parts.  Man those were some fantastic cars to drive. I would kill a busful of nuns to get my hands on a newer M5.

I'm suddenly not in love with my Cherokee anymore. :cry

Oddly enough my glossy black Pony with tinted windows, blacked out lights, and heavy metal blaring through the system doesn't seem to attract them. I've only been pulled over twice, once when they were looking for someone else.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

I have a Dodge Durango...Kids, band stuff, dirt bikes...gotta have it.  I have an old Vette in the garage, and I'm most excited about the Sublime Dodge Daytona Charger that my wife has ordered for X mas delivery.  Goodness I love that woman.

Well I had two speeding tickets in roughly 43 years of driving and I've been pulled over twice since I bought the Mustang last year. Got a ticket on the first one and a warning on the second one. It may be a situation where I've been more of a lead foot in this car than the pickups I always drove before.

Commute up this morning, Golf V something in front, straight part of the road ahead, had a look ahead and my foot was slipping into lead mode, quick look behind me and there it was, the white unmarked watching, lead foot goes away and saved myself  the hassle of a ticket etc, funny enough, he ended up going past the boths of us shorlty after, probably had bigger fish to fry elsewhere.

Thanks 9's
Funny thing about it is she bought it for me a couple of yrs ago. We are slowly modifying it as funds permit. Just got done installing 1300 watt sound system with 2 12" subs:O  You should see the canvas puff out when the top is on. It looks like it is breathing.:rofl

Black Magic tire wet is great, makes your tires look nice and glossy. good for plastic pieces that have faded also.
