Im on a 130pm to 10pm shift now.  I thought it would be better than nights...but mid-day shifts seem to be worse!

I've had some interviews for something else in the IT field...but its nights.  4 Days on, 3 off.  Its significantly more money tho...so who knows  :)

Good luck Maniac, and WTG Diablo!

Cooch...I am an agent for AFLAC, you know, the "duck" company.

I was a casino marketing director, the most fun job I ever had, but worked for jerks.

Being my own boss rocks, though!

Yeah, it's hard work, and some very long days, but it's worth it.

It's not for everybody, but if you can get through the first 6 months--you have got it!

BTW:  every policy you enroll keeps paying you commission every month that someone keeps it.  Many agents are able to retire after 10 years.  My partner is 23...he'll be able to retire at 33.

Thanks for all the support :)

Well, almost an week into the decision and im still sure that this was the right thing to do. Have got confirmation from my friends with the construction buisinesses that there is no problem for me getting stray work from all three of them. So that feels good.

Well still 2 months to go, then im taking the opportunity to travel for 1-2 months.  I will probably check the abroad job market just for fun. Otherwise im in construction when i get back home. Will be nice to work with the body instead of with your brain for anwhile.

Probably gonna save up money and travel for an longer time when i get home, like 6-12 months in Asia wouldnt do me wrong i think. Then after that i probably will get back into the IT branch. Right now i had it with computers and peoples problems with em.

It has been alot of "What are we going to do now" comments/reactions at work, and "You cant do this!!" wich i just went "Yes i can do this, just watch me, you can hire consultants or something".

They will be ok eventually, it will cost em alot of money in the beginning tough.

:)
