EndItAll vs ATI's Fusion

is EndItAll ( EndItAll2 ) basically the same thing as Ati's new Fusion Beta?

and Skuzzy, you posted in a thread that their are better control centers than Ati's CCC? do you recommend any for the 3870?

You may have enditall confused. It is not a control center. It ends programs that are not needed to run your computer.

thx drdeathx, but I already know what  EndItAll and EndItAll2 is and what it does, I already have both versions on my PC, in my archived back up files folder.......

I was curious as if Ati's new FUSION is similar to EndItAll, by reading the overview of it here:

ATI is saying that their new FUSION Beta is an EndItAll type BETA program, to where you can better tweak your PC Processes, even overclock your CPU  and your GPU, and has a Game Mode Option......I was wondering if anyone was possibly giving it a go, to see if it was any good.......



the control center I was asking Skuzzy about was CCC ( Catalyst Control Center  for Ati  Video Cards ). Skuzzy posted that it is now bloated and uses the NET Framework 2.0 or higher.......and he posted there was better programs out there that was smaller, used less memory and worked better.......

Optimize your system bootup never to load unnecessary things, then invest $100 to new hardware and you won't need to worry about such things anymore.

Tequila... Skuzz did say that it was bloated but if you have somewhat of a newer computer, I wouldn't worry

Here is a good alternative to the CCC.  CCC simply has far too much overhead and the fact it requires .NET framework should be a concern to anyone looking for good solid, smooth game play regardless of the hardware.  Why waste CPU cycles AND resources when you do not need to?

The ATI Tray Tools does a pretty nice job and has a very low impact on the CPU.  I have not tried RivaTuner in quite a while, but it is mostly for overclocking.

Here is a good alternative to the CCC.  CCC simply has far too much overhead and the fact it requires .NET framework should be a concern to anyone looking for good solid, smooth game play regardless of the hardware.  Why waste CPU cycles AND resources when you do not need to?

As for RivaTuner, for ATI cards is basically only good for setting and controlling your fan speed and for GPU usage monitoring, though it does allow for some low level driver tweaking but you can do that with ATI Tray.

I've been running Ray Adams ATI Tray Tools for quite a while with my crossfire 3870 vid cards and Omega Drivers with NO CCC bull installed.  Like Ack-Ack says, it's a fantastic program and you really don't need that CCC .net junk running on your system.
