Your taxes pay for this to be followed up and it was.  Money went, in this case, to what it is provided for.  

The guy being questioned reasonable feels a little affronted.  After all he's no threat to national security and whats the harm in reading.  You'd think after he's had time to reflect on the situation he'd be thinking "well done FBI" but......... no.  He's thinking this'll help me with my Journalism University.

No big deal folks.

I think the problem lies more in the fact that the call was made by some fear-addled soccer mom that has been pummeled by the sensationalist media into seeing al-Qaeda operatives in every dark corner of the local coffeshop.

Yay for partisanism. The extreme left is screaming impression, the extreme right that there's nothing to worry about and it's all an exaggeration of the "liberal" media.

It may not indicate there's a problem NOW, but I AM concerned as this can VERY easily get worse.

That's what I find most disturbing.  A population that turns on itself is more easy to control, ala Stalinist Soviet Union or Nazi Germany.  Accuse your neighbor before they accuse you.
