Hmm just out of curiosity, I took a look at the top 20 ranked Fighter pilots of last tour (due to lack of other ways to determine any individual "quality"):

These 20 guys had a kill total of 19511.
8942 of these were achieved being Rook
8935 of these were achieved being Knight
1634 of these were achived being Bishop (with one pilot alone having 1155 kills!)

10 had the majority of their kills as a Rook, 9 as a Knight and only 1 as a Bishop.

Draw your own conclusions, if any ;)

Too bad -- I enjoyed your company the few times I've seen you in Bishland.

So, explain why you are rook again?  Describes them more than any other country (most of all the "runninpony-altmonkey38-dweeb" part of that).

The mission-centricity of Bishland is conducive to the younger/less experienced crowd, as someone else is doing the thinking for them. All they must do individually is what they're told in "follow-the-leader" fashion...Obviously, this serves to greatly simplify the complexity of the game on an individual level of play...
I would agree with this generally.  Seems many "squeakers" either get chased out of the other countries or quit out of frustration.  One could therefore conclude that, without Bishland, AH would not be growing.   :aok

A few alternate conclusions:
1) We openly laugh at rank potatos.
2) As extraordinary toolshedders, everyone in Bishland flies "attack" and not "fighter."
3) It is hard to get a good fighter rank flying an IL2.
4) It is all part of our plan to lure RookNits into a false sense of security.
5) It is all part of Dan/CorkyJr/Guppy's sinister plot to ruin AH.

Exactly, no doubt it can be a good thing for the community at large to have a country that caters to the needs of the new/young/inexperienced players. But, are you familiar with the term NIMBY (Not In My Back-Yard)? That describes my feeling toward Bish, while it may be good for the game as a whole in the end, that particular environment is not something I would choose to subject myself to during my precious free-time when I choose to play AH...I think those that have expressed a similar sentiment toward Bishland are merely expressing that same feeling...

In alot of ways Bishland is basically, "Training Arena Phase II" which is good in that it really helps noobs transition from that, " Not having any clue whatsoever" phase over the huge hump to the, "Has somewhat of a  clue..." phase..

Let's face sobering facts here. The typical 13 year old today needs all the help they can get. They're so busy holding up their droopy drawers with one hand and flashing gang signs with the other, one has to wonder with what are they grasping their joystick... ;)
