Bomber bug
« on: August 01, 2007, 06:43:44 PM »
Im ready to say the continueing issue Im having is actually a bug in my AH software. Heres what happens.

Even when I deaden and stabalize my stick, when flying my bombers, and when attacked. When I jump in one of the gunner positions and swerve the stick to track the enemy fighters the stick movement starts swerving the bomber all over the place. Its even worse when I have 2 drones with me.

Why do I think its an AH bug? Because it never happens until an actually enemy is inbound lit up red. I could fly for thousands of miles swerving away until an actual enemy is IB in red and then the plane starts dancing.

Unless Im doing somthing wrong. The plan is to hit "X", put the thing on auto, jump in a gunner seat, and shoot right? Is there some other keyboard command? Is the plane supposed to bounce like that?

I gave my credit card number yesterday. I like the game and the community. But Im so aggravated right now I feel like I cant even play it. Im running Vista home premium on a trouble free system thats only a few months old. Im computer literate being a pro videographer.

Someone please help me here? Ive E-mailed tech support as well.

Thank you....................Rich

your rudder control is spiking.  When in the gunner position, if u use the rudder it turns your bombers to what ever direction u turn the rudder control.  To correct this, u can try to increase your deadband.

First off thanks for taking the time to respond. As to the deadband theory? That ship sailed a week ago. And if it was the deadband why would the problem only crop up with IB bogeys when they go red?

And no Im not "overly excited" when I see enemy airplanes.
