A very good sudgestion too.  However, it was not offered that way and this is not the first time I see replies like that one.  He was where he was.  He was following the rules.  Teling him to go somewhere else if he does not like people being rude, is not a good sudgestion

Perhaps, but from what I gather from baldeagle's other posts, I do not think it was rude. I think it was simply practical.

I do see what you mean, though, and agree on the social aspect of it.

I wasn't trying to be rude at all.  If all you want to do is practice bombing or landing then off-line is the best place to do so.  As I said, no distractions.

If you want to practice ACM or air-spawn at alt on the other hand then you want to go to the TA  (I've heard you can do these things... I've never been there).

I agree the kid was being a jerk and should be reported to HTC.

I just flew by the post with a quick suggestion.  Nothing more, nothing less.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

The kiddies need to learn how to read and comprehend, so that they can follow the rules in the TA

He rammed me. Come to think of it. Because he dissapeared from the screen right after he hit me. He told me he was 17yo. Right before he told me to "#-off".

I just read rules 6 & 7. Like I said Im fairly new here. Apologies for not reading them fully before. It wont happen again.

You'll note the "edited by Skuzzy" comment in devildog's post. That means Skuzzy (one of HTC's staff) has edited his post. That was Skuzzy telling devildog. Had it been for you, he would have edited your post, and/or sent you a warning.

The sad thing is that there is a LOT of this happening in the TA lately.  I'll go in there to play with settings or to find a few good practice sessions and every night i have been in there this month i have had someone just line up and start basting away, usually the same offenders too.  When i cal them on it i get the same text abuse.  Not a big deal since i cant get shot down, its more the blatant disregard for the rules and a lack of decency.

Yeah, the kid was on my tail for like 2 minutes blasting away, I actually didnt even know you cant sustain damage in that room until I was told here. I just thought he was a lousy shot. You can when someone flys into you, I'll attest to that.

From now on I'll just go offline to do it. However the perc for on-line is often there is a trainer there when you need help. Ive had a few help me in there, very graciously BTW.

And it was the most important part of the run too. I was getting a feel for the 234 on low level. Well at least I figured out how to take off without the rocket assist.

You can only sustain damage in the TA by a ram from someone that is not on the same team as you are, or of course hitting the ground or a building.

Generally if I'm in the TA I check first to see if a trainer is in there and who they are.

If someone shoots at me without asking I politely ask them not to.  If they continue to do so and there's not a trainer in there I just return the favor because it's generally someone who is very new and lousy enough for me to continually rain lead into.  Then I giggle as they auger and ignore them as much as possible.  If they come back for more lather, rinse, repeat, and giggle some more especially if they start losing it and cussing me on vox or 200.  I might get upset if someone calls me something I haven't been called before but they're going to have to dig deep in the bag to find something and most of these guys have a big bag of nothing.

What makes this more fun is that, generally speaking, there are a few squad mates and some regs that will cheerfully join in the fun.

If there's a trainer in there I pm them and let them handle it.
