kills after being killed
« on: August 06, 2007, 07:10:27 PM »
flew next to a enemy '38, this guy never touched me.he was fiting someone else.he crashes ..seconds later i hit a tree and he gets the kill!

got in a fite w/someone else. they pinged me a little.he gets shot down..seconds later i went down and he STILL got the kill.

i blast a plane hit some of thier wreckage and they get the kill.

getting kill after you ded is not right nor does it make any sense.whats the object to a dog fight. to kill someone and to win the fight. when someone dies/shot down..how do they win the fight? can this be changed.its humiliating!

I'm not sure on this so don't take it as law, but I think if you eject and are still in the feild when the other guy goes down you'll get the kill message for it, so that might have happened, but like I said I'm not sure on this.

Sometimes you can damage someone, die, re-up a new plane and then get credit for the kill on the guy you damaged before you went down.

....that, or the chute strikes again!

:)
Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

Times you get killed without understanding why?  Priceless.  That's why there's MasterCard - and beer.

Check the persons score through the score page expanded format, Deep. If they have any kills in a Chute, you will know what happened.

I got shot down a while ago.... I was rammed by the guy, so I wasn't particularly impressed. I hit the silk and rather than just tower out like I usually would, I just grabbed my beer.

Funnily enough, the rammer also took critical damage and bailed shortly after I did.

He got the kill on me then I got the kill on him.

The kill was attributed  to 'Chute', not the aircraft I had been flying when I landed hits on his aircraft before the collision took place.

That would be known as a proxy kill

This is the reason so many get kills while in a chute.  I believe there was a thread called "Perk the Chute".  If you are in a chute you are able to still get proxy kills I guess.

I got 6 proxie kills in a chute one night standing in the map room at a VB under attack.  I also killed over 20 troops with my .45 and ultimately held the base.
