It has worked with every voice program to date, but I haven't used any voice program integrated into AH.

It's weird if noise cancelling mic doesn't work with AH when it works with everything else and is much better for the listener than a mic which catches every bit of noise from the room. Sounds awful when the voice echoes and there's possibly a TV in the background too.

Must be a joke.

The cheapest, I only use the headset for AH, why spend big bucks on it. Currently some sort of Logitech set, the third in my 5 years in AH... I still have some of the more expensive headsets waiting for a repair (solder a wire on a Plantronics headset...), but haven't had the time and the quality isn't much better.

edit, Fishu, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work, look through the Technical support forum to be sure. Varmaan vaan joku idiootti ymmärtänyt asian väärin.

I use a noise-canceling mic.

I have yet to get it to work for some reason.

USB-connected noise-cancelling headset? As an addition to the regular motherboard plugs? I've understood that AH only supports one set of audio out-/inputs, so maybe that's the problem, you should define the USB one as the default audio in/out, if that's the case. I'm not savvy on these audio questions, maybe Skuzzy will soon be in here to enlighten us all...

No, my microphone is design to cancel noise.  All noise.  Hence it is called a "noise canceling mic".  A buddy of mine named Jerry conceptualized it and I have put it into limited production.

Still having trouble getting it to work.
