Did you try to manually select the non damaged engine? I've found that on twin engined aircraft like the A20, JU88, B-26, KI bomber, Mosquito, BF-110 ect. That when you take one engine out, you have to manually select engine you want to control and then use the normal controls on just it. Keeping it in all engine mode will for some reason not work.
