Tank Traps on coastline
« on: August 14, 2007, 05:08:36 PM »
Ok I place my river tiles up to the ocean then add my delta's

The problem I have is it worked great on my small test map
getting the PT-Boat from the ocean to the river using the deltas.

Now on my larger map I've been working on I did the exact same thing except the tank traps are appearing where the river tile meets the
ocean it is adding the coastline under the delta which has the tank traps
there. Kills the PT boats engine every time.
I tried editing the default coastline tiles terr0100, terr0200, terr0300
removing all the tanktraps and then palceing the edited .til file in my maps
texsrc folder clear my cache files and rebuild the map.

Test it off line and the tank traps are still there going thru the delta.

Any suggestions on this would be appreciated..

(Hope all that makes sence)

Update on this issue:

I have found that moving from the ocean thru a delta into a river tile
will only work on the west side of your terrain, and the south side of
your terrain.

So I pose the question  What is the difference in the N and S side
and what is different in the E and W side of the way the shore tiles
are placed pertaining to the river tiles...????
