It said it could carry a pilot and an observer. Good luck making ten trips back and forth to capture a feild

So, I was wrong... Ill admit it... but...
The American craft was used as a medevac and the German used as a spotter. So, they really dont have a point in Aces High.

Ummm, it can RESUPPLY fields, and i didn't mean that one man could capture a field with a single chopper, yes it would take a couple.  It could also be something to use our bomber perks on.  And it should maybe be limited too, say 15 per cv group per half hour with a max of 15 per carrier.  Also, it would make HTC the only flight sim with a WWII era chopper to play around in, it won't be a huge selling point, but it's something different.  So that being said I do beleive it has a place in the game.  I'm also not saying I want it immediatly, there are many other things I'd like to see in game, such as barrage balloons, more Italian aircraft, and German bombers but it's definatly a valid wish.

However, they had no impact on the war and were not a common sight.  They have as much place in the game as the F-80 Shooting Star.

The game is about fun, and I'm sure many would have alot of fun with these. I know they were rare so perk them simialar to a tempest (bomber perks tho).  I think many would have fun gv spotting with them too; enough of a perk would keep them rare enough in the arena while still giving us an aircraft unique to the flight sim world.

Well, then, why not put in the F-80?  That would be fun, and would also be a fair counter to the Me-262.

Actually, however, the necessarily qualifications for the inclusion of something in the game are fairly well known, and the helicopter doesn't them.

If the top speed was 200mph, they'd last about as long as a Goon

Would helicopter flight even be possible in AH without a major recoding?

I know the Germans used helicopters and i heard they performed the first medivac, plus that Sikorsky helicopter(was it Russian or US) i know it was used also.
But still, they were slow, turn would be unmatched(atleast for the sikorsky).
I would rather not have these as they were combat aircraft like a Ju87 or P51 was.
